I still remember when a few weeks ago it was announced that an adapted version of RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 would arrive on the App Store. At that moment I remembered that fantastic simulation game that I enjoyed on PC many years ago and I crossed my fingers that it would reach the App Store. App Store something very similar, however, the game is a complete nonsense.
When you get to the App Store and see that RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 costs 2,69 euros you still hope that it is a complete game, with some optional integrated purchase and with a gameplay that is faithful to the original but after testing it for a few hours, none of this is what we find.
After passing an initial tutorial on how to play the mobile version of RollerCoaster Tycoon 4, we realize that the options we have are quite limited although as we gain experience points, some buildings are unlocked and we have access to more attractions.
Some of these constructions are paid for with money and others with tickets that are quite difficult to get without going through the box. At the beginning we will have a quite interesting amount of tickets but if we go to the section of the most expensive roller coasters, we will see that the amount necessary to build them is exorbitant and we will have to go through the box Unless we are constantly bothering our Facebook contacts, that is, in the purest Candy Crush style.
The buildings of the first levels are built in a matter of minutes, however, already at level 8 (which you reach in a matter of 5 or 6 hours) we will have some attractions and hotels that will take more than 12 hours. I do not want to imagine in the next levels what we can take but, fortunately (sarcasm), again the entrances will allow us to finish the buildings instantly.
As for the simulation that we had in the original game, I don't know at what point in the development of RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 they decided to do without it but it is not present anywhere. There are no risks, visitors are always happy and our amusement park is always profitableIt will generate more or less money but it is profitable unless we spend all our money on illuminated roads and millions of trees.
The music becomes repetitive after five minutes, the graphics are nothing to write home about, and the gameplay is no different than the classic Farmville and the like, games that are plagued with micro-payments but can be downloaded for free. RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 costs 2,69 euros and no better than freemium games that we all know already.
It's a shame but RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 could become a great game and due to the effort to raise money they have managed to smear one of the best simulation titles and strategy that have been created.

Totally agree. That mania for making money with internal purchases almost always turns them into simple times where the only difficulty is how many hours you can put in the game. I have not yet seen a game of this type where you can be killed and where "skill" and good play are essential. They are flat games. I do not care to ride roller coasters, to farms, to feed dinosaurs ... they are all the same.

The easily jailbroken .. Did you try it ?? I have several of those "easily" and for this one and some others do not work. If you know of one that works, I would appreciate it.
I downloaded it with jailbreak on ios7, it looks for appaddict, it is very easy to download and almost all the apps are updated.
