The Apple Watch has become a essential for many users and the expectation around the new generations is very high. Last year, a great deal of smoke was generated around the new design that the Apple Watch Series 7 was going to have. It was predicted that the rounded edges would be abandoned in favor of a more rectangular and flat design. In the end there was no luck and there was continuity. Nevertheless, Rumors of a flatter design sound again around the Apple Watch Series 8 and it is likely that a year later, Apple will make the leap for good.
Flat design resonates around the Apple Watch Series 8
You're not dreaming but it looks like a déjà vu In all rules. We relive the same thing that happened last year but with a long way to go. It all started with information from the well-known leaker Jon Prosser about the possible new design of the Apple Watch Series 7. In fact, he obtained CAD plans of the supposed design and developed a series of concepts, with a great media campaign, in which a new rectangular and flat design abandoning the curves of all generations of Apple Watch to date. Nevertheless, the final design of the Series 7 neither resembled the concepts nor did it eliminate the rounded edges.
Now it's the turn of the Apple Watch Series 8 which will see the light in the coming months. Rumors point to three new products in this presentation. On the one hand, the Apple Watch Series 8. On the other hand, the second generation of the SE. And, finally, a new edition called explorer edition, with more robust materials aimed at risk sports and extreme situations.
Heard from a source today that there is a flat front glass display for the apple watch display. High chance that this is the front glass for the Apple Watch Series 8.

The user ShrimpApplePro known on Twitter for his leaks of the iPhone 14 Pro, among others, has assured that the panel of the Apple Watch Series 8 would become rectangular. He also assures that he does not have information regarding the rest of the design or the box as such, so we do not know anything else either. But what is certain is that a rectangular crystal should be included in a rectangular box. This could revive the flat, rectangular Apple Watch concept which began, as we have been saying, Jon Prosser a year ago.
