Without a doubt, the most important novelties that came along with the Apple Watch Series 2 are the greater resistance to water and the integrated GPS. The latest application to take advantage of the GPS included in the second generation of the apple watch is RunKeeper, one of the best-known sports applications on the App Store.
The latest Runkeeper update includes just two items on the 7.6 release list: «After finishing the race, you will see that the route was plotted on your phone with Apple Watch Series 2 (thanks to the built-in GPS). We also update all Apple Watch data including target rate, heart rate, and GPS signal strength graphs.«. The two novelties are placed after a text with a certain grace in which they welcome, almost three months later, the Apple Watch Series 2.
