Runtastic applications for sit-ups, squats, pull-ups and push-ups

Runtastic

Playing sports is something that must be combined with a balanced diet to keep our body in top shape. We know that the daily rhythm does not allow us to take a lot of free time and what little we have, we do not usually use it in sports practices.

The Runtastic guys seem to have found the key to get us to practice some very basic exercises that we can do in our own home. The mix between personal challenges and competition will be the motivation we need to run these apps every day.

All our physical activity will be recorded in the application so that we have statistics, we upload the results to the Runtastic Fitness website or share it on Facebook, Twitter or email.

Each application has a training plan that will try to help you achieve a goal specific. A virtual coach will tell us the intensity of each series and the time we have to rest between them.

Runtastic PushUps Pro:

push-ups

The purpose of Runtastic PushUps PRO is the one to do the highest number of push-ups. The iOS device will be responsible for counting them through its proximity sensor that will detect us in each descent although there is also the possibility of touching the screen with the nose.

Runtastic PullUps Pro:

pull ups

In Runtastic PullUps Pro we can strengthen back and arms. It is likely that to perform this type of exercises correctly you need a pull-up bar in which you can support the weight of your body. The use of accelerometers will take care of detecting each repetition.

Runtastic Squats Pro:

squats

If what you want is strengthen legs and glutes, Runtastic Squats Pro proposes a training plan to perform squats whose objective is to reach 150 repetitions. Again, the accelerometers will be in charge of counting our series.

Runtastic SitUps Pro:

sit-ups

Finally, Runtastic Sit Ups PRO is the fourth and last application in the new collection of apps dedicated to fitness. Here we will have to become close friends with the abdominals, a pending task for many users who want to strengthen the abdomen area and avoid the accumulation of fat.

All of them are part of the park Essential applications to keep track of our sports sessions and progress from iPhone or iPad.

The information is very good, the truth is that I consider that they are essential Apps; I have all of them in the Pro version but with one I have a little doubt it is about 'Runtastic SitUps' it turns out that I can't find the correct way to place my device while doing the abs, it always keeps slipping and falling ... Any suggestions or recommendation of how to place it and in what area?

Thank you very much friends of The Best of iOS. A huge greeting.
