SafariBlankPage, or how to start Safari with a blank page

SafariBlankPage

Today is the turn of another of those very elementary applications, nothing flashy, but that can be very useful. SafariBlankPage is a new Cydia application that makes every time you run Safari for the first time, open a blank page. What sense can this make? If you have noticed, every time you open Safari, if it has been a while since the last time you opened it, reload all the content of the last page that you had loaded. This causes a waste of time, since you have to wait for the content to load to find another page, or stop loading the page from the address bar. With this simple application every time you run Safari "from scratch" (it doesn't work if it's active in multitasking), it will directly open a blank page in a new tab. Of course, respect the tabs that you have active.

As I said, the application is nothing to write home about, since you can do that by creating a direct access to a blank page from your springboard. It's very easy, type in the address bar "about: blank", click on the Safari actions button (the square with the arrow), and select "Add to home screen". Every time you want to open Safari with a blank page, click on that icon that appears on your springboard.

If you really find this little "trick" useful, I recommend that you use SafariBlankPage, as it is more "invisible" than having a blank icon on the springboard, and also the application is completely free. You already have it available in Cydia, in the BigBoss repo and it is compatible with the iPhone and iPad. Of course, it is not compatible with Chrome. What internet browser do you use on your iPad?

Very good trick! I'm going to implement it on my BRAND NEW iPad, hehe.
Speaking of browsers, I learned that Microsoft released the latest Explorer for Windows 7 and that now they "stop being crap" haha. Or at least they say so themselves in their advertising. Check out this site, it's hilarious! http://bit.ly/16zuMVF Greetings
