Saurik, the French developer who owns the alternative store Cydia, is not someone who is known for falling asleep while doing his job. He usually works hand in hand with the hackers who create jailbreaks and has everything up to date, but this time he has been slow to do something: activate Cydia purchases for iOS 9.3.3. Pangu launched the Chinese version of its tool on July 24 and it was not until yesterday that the French developer activated this option.
As explained in two tweets, the developers could not mark their creations as compatible for the latest version of iOS, which ultimately prevented users with iOS 9.2-9.3.3 from buying from Cydia. And, when we go to buy / download software from the alternative store, we see a message that tells us if it is compatible or not with the version that our iOS device uses.
It can be purchased from Cydia with iOS 9.3.3, but ...
Cydia now allows self-service refunds within one day of purchase if the package has been uninstalled; also: the Store is now up for 9.2 / 9.3.

(To be clear: Cydia now allows developers to mark products as compatible with 9.2 / 9.3; until each developer does, you can't just buy stuff.)

Cydia now allows one-day self-service returns if a package has been uninstalled. Also: the store is updated for 9.2 / 9.3. (To clarify: Cydia now allows developers to mark products as 9.2 / 9.3 compliant - until each developer does, items cannot be purchased.)
On the other hand, Saurik also speaks of the auto return service, a function that will allow any user to request a refund of the cost of an application or tweak during the first 24 hours if the software has been uninstalled from their devices. This is good for at least two reasons: On the one hand, it is not uncommon for us to buy a tweak and find that it does not work as it should or we are simply not satisfied with it. On the other hand, being able to return a tweak or app will make developers take it more seriously when it comes to finding and fixing bugs, which will ultimately increase the overall quality of the software sold on Cydia.
At least Cydia is getting better every day, something that we can't seem to say about the jailbreak tools ...
