Saurik updates Cydia Impactor and launches Cydia Extender

We return to the Jailbreak scene at the hands of Saurik, one of the main developers without whom this type of activity would hardly make sense. Today we bring good news twice, the first is that Jay Freeman has finally decided to update Cydia Impactor, which had been stopped for a while, and has also launched a new tool, this is called Cydia Extender, and we are going to tell you about this new software that Saurik makes available to anyone who has enough knowledge to use it. The Jailbreak is still quite alive despite the news that iOS has been introducing in recent years.

We started with Cydia Extender, this new tool is not what you expected, you were wanting a software that will sign your applications for more than a week, unfortunately Cydia Extender is not capable of doing that. What Cydia Extender does is allow us to install an application on the iOS device that will give us the opportunity to install any .IPA directly from Safari, in the same terms that Cydia Impactor would. However, it won't take long for Cupertino to put limitations on this type of download method beyond the iOS App Store.

As for Cydia Impactor, now reaches version 0.9.93, available for both macOS and Linux as well as for Windows. According to the update notes, it now solves a problem with the SSL certificates and the way Windows verified them, in this way, it will more correctly sign the .IPA (iOS application installation files). In addition, it has been integrated with its sister application, Cydia Extender, which we talked about a moment ago.
