Save time and money during your vacations with this offline GPS navigation App

If you plan travel by car during the holidays, then surely you are going to need a reliable browser. In the App Store you can find a multitude of free applications, but if what you are looking for is to enjoy the holidays with full guarantee then perhaps you should pay for a premium application.  Sygic GPS Navigation is an offline application that comes equipped with high-quality maps stored directly on the iPhone.

GPS without spending connection

Sygic searches and calculates routes and allows browsing without the need to connect to the internet, so you can totally forget about data consumption and extra roaming expenses. Most navigation applications (even Google Maps) need to be connected from the mobile to function properly, which makes it difficult to navigate in areas with poor coverage or shoot up costs when using it abroad.

The quality of Sygic has been amply demonstrated by being listed Top 20 Navigation from the App Store in more than 40 countries. Also, Sygic's lifetime license price offers free map updates, so you only have to pay once and you will have it updated forever. If you are looking for the best value for money, Sygic GPS Navigation may be the right choice.

To make it clear to you all that this app can offer you, here we show you a video where you can see all its functionalities.

Sygic is a total navigation software, with dynamic lane instructions, view of junctions, routes with several stops and many options to customize the app, without forgetting the speed limit and speed camera warnings. Compared to common navigation applications, Sygic is the only one that offers beautiful 3D images of landmarks, parks, and mountains, for better orientation.

Actually, the offer is very good, and I am considering buying it, but I also say that I find it shameful that this type of system does not use it already and natively Apple with its maps. The fact of having to pay for an offline GPS application seems embarrassing to me. Do you remember when the phones did not have GPS and they started to implement it? Well, we were always sold that these terminals have GPS but we always need data traffic to triangulate our position. Come on, the GPS thing, to this day is still a LIE! my tomtom device did not need DATA gentlemen Apple. Anyway, I had to say it.
    Regards!

Hello iphonemac, actually what you say is not entirely true. The triangulation service is needed to obtain an approximate location much more quickly, using the telephone antennas as a reference instead of the satellite position which takes longer to obtain.

The problem is that many apps need us to be connected to the network to download the maps. If you download TomTom for iPhone, disconnect the data and the wi-fi and you will see that it works exactly the same as the navigator in your car.

Hello Nacho. I appreciate your answer as always. It has been completely clear to me, and as Carlos says well, I still believe that both the Apple maps and GoogleMaps are a shame as far as resources are concerned; What is the use of the phone equipping GPS, if by the nose it requires an AGPS connection and with it data consumption? It would be much more beneficial for the client not to affect them in expense, having a GPS receiver.
What I came to defend was that it would be much better if they did not depend on this service to facilitate our travels.
Anyway, conclusions already drawn, I am going to decide and buy Sygic or TomTom for iPhone, and thus be able to really use my smartphone as a GPS navigator. Thank you very much for your help! Greetings.

The truth is that you are right in what you say but everything has its bad side and its good side. Maps "in the cloud" tend to be updated more frequently and transparently while depending on an application, namely when they update it.

In the city it is very useful to use Assisted GPS to position us almost instantly, however, by car this system is a tostón and if we run out of data coverage, goodbye maps.

          Greetings and good weekend !!

How many megabytes can you spend if you use google maps or apple maps? Because 30 Eurasian is 30 Eurazos: is it really a saving of 30 bucks, as the title of the post says? And the time savings?

How much has sygic paid you to do this advertising?
It shows a lot that it is advertising and not that you are putting it here because you have tried it.

I can tell you with total sincerity and impartiality that it is very beautiful but for more or less constant use it is bad. He messed me up a ton of times, and I ended up missing the Navigon a lot.
Now I use the latter on a daily basis and it really is a thousand times better. This one never messes it up

The GPS sold in the Appstore do not need mobile data since it is by satellite, in addition all the maps are already loaded on the iphone, this is the difference between Googlemaps or apple maps that these are not loaded on the iphone and if they consume data. I have Navigon and I am very happy with this GPS application. If you want to do the test, remove the SIM card from your iphone and test your GPS and you will see that it will work for you, on the other hand, Googlemaps or apple maps will not work
