Hackers are giving us a good Christmas by launching untethered jailbreaks of almost every device we know of. First of all we have evasi0n7 able to jailbreak iOS 7 devices; then, P0sixspwn which allows any device with iOS 6.1.3, 6.1.4 or 6.1.5 to do this procedure and finally, a few hours ago, they launched the untethered jailbreak for the Apple TV 5.3 through the tool Seas0nPass. This tool, Seas0nPass has been updated to the version 2.4 adding several new features including the ability to jailbreak Apple TV with version 5.3 (the third generation of the Apple TV is not compatible with this jailbreak)
In addition, hackers are trying to find an exploit that could be used for a future "jailbreak" at the time. Apple TV with version 6.0 available on the latest Apple TVs.

Important !: Third generation Apple TVs are not compatible with this jailbreak
- Download the corresponding Seas0nPass from this page
- Open the program you have installed and press "Create IPSW"
- Seas0nPass will download the current software from your Apple TV and create an exact replica with the jailbreak embedded
- When asked, connect the Apple TV to the computer via micro-USB (power cord disconnected). When the Apple TV light flashes rapidly, point the remote control at the Apple TV and press the two buttons on the remote (Menu and Play / Pause) for seven seconds.
