The Cupertino boys just released the second public beta for iPhone and iPad of iOS 12. This second public beta offers us the same build number as the one we can find in the third beta for developers, so all those users who have problems with GPS or CarPlay will see how they have finally been solved.
This new beta offers us new animated activity stickers, new interface for voice recordings on the iPad, more battery consumption statistics for our device, several bugs that had been detected in the notification center have been solved and again the battery life has increased considerably unlike the previous beta.
Apple's public beta program allows all non-developer users to sign up for the program to test first hand all the news that will come from the hand of the next versions of iOS, macOS and tvOS, but not watchOS, since Apple does not plan to open the public beta program, due to the complexity of restoring the Apple Watch by not having a connection official for the general public, the Apple Store being the only place to restore it.
Unlike other years, in which the betas were a headache more than anything else, this year, it shows that Apple has touched little of the operating system and has focused on improving performance of the same, adding a few aesthetic and functional improvements. By focusing on performance, iOS 12 substantially improves the performance of older iPhone and iPad models, models that with the arrival of iOS 11 and problems with device performance due to battery health have given more than a problem to the heads of Apple.
