Semi-Restore is an indispensable application for those who have their device with Jailbreak done and do not want to lose it. TOUpdated to the latest version with Jailbreak available (iOS 9.1), the application also already has support for the three most important platforms: Windows, OS X and Linux. With this update, anyone who has Jailbroken and for some reason finds it necessary to restore their device will now be able to do so without fear of losing Cydia, and will be able to continue enjoying their favorite tweaks with a recently restored terminal. Restore without losing the Jailbreak
Semi-Restore fulfills precisely this purpose: to leave your device clean, as it has just been restored to an official version of iOS, but with the Jailbreak done. If you had your iPhone with iOS 9.1 and Cydia installed, you can use SemiRestore and it will end with the same iOS 9.1 and Cydia installed, but without applications, tweaks or data, as it left the factory. It is a very useful procedure for those who have Jailbreak and for whatever reason their terminal already needs a restoration, because it is unstable, it is slow or has any other software problem.
Procedure
Using Semi-Restore is quite simple, you just have to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to your computer, run the application that you can download from the official website of SemiRestore and press the button that appears in the window. The video that I put on these lines is quite old but the procedure has not changed, so it is still valid. Once the application is used, your iPhone or iPad will be as fresh out of the box, with the same version of iOS that I had before the procedure and, most importantly, with Jailbreak done and Cydia running.
