Parents use Apple Watch to share newborns' heartbeats

When Apple first introduced the Apple Watch last September, it told us about a couple of exclusive functions  which at first seemed to some of us not very useful. One of them is the ability to send drawings from one Apple Watch to another. This possibility could come in handy in some cases that I can't imagine at the moment, but there is another that, although at first it seems “nerdy” or “cheesy”, it can be very pretty.

I speak of the possibility of send our heartbeats to someone else. At first I logically thought that this function would serve to send our heartbeats to our partner. But, as always, users are finding new ways to use what is offered to them.

Recently, a cousin of mine had a daughter. It is common for photos to be sent by WhatsApp of the new family member and dozens of photos will have already been sent. This is the normal procedure so far, but the Apple Watch offers us, without having planned it, to go further in a way that will surely make parents and family members very excited. And it is that the parents of the creatures are putting the Apple Watch to their children to send the babies heartbeat to his family and people close (but not from a distance).

It may seem silly, but the first parents to try this system claim that it is a spectacular experience and I believe them. The arrival of a new family member is always a special moment and any way to share happiness with the rest of the family is welcome. I am totally sure that sharing babies' heartbeats with Apple Watch, or other smartwatches in the future, will become standard practice from now on. As always, and I imagine that this time without having planned it, Apple paving the way.
