As you all know, and if I don't already explain it to you right now, Siri has been present on iOS devices since 2011, more specifically from the moment the iPhone 4S went on sale in the summer of the same year. As a Mac user for several years now, I have always wondered: why haven't they already released something similar for computers? Well I think I will not have an answer to that question, but it seems that Siri for Mac it will be a reality from the next version.
The images of this post, published by MacRumors, show a full color icon on the Dock in which we see a circle with the Siri waves of iOS 9 inside and another in the upper bar in which we only read the text "Siri" inside a square. Sources say that clicking one of the two buttons will bring up the typical Siri waves on any apple device, but this won't be the only way to call Siri on Mac.

How could it (or should not) be otherwise, "Hey Siri" will also be available on OS X. Another thing would not be understood, since the function is available on any compatible iOS device that, at least, is connected to a power outlet. Of course, sources say that the option will be disabled by default, it is not known if to save battery in the case of the MacBook or because the development of Siri for Mac is still in its early stages.
Siri for Mac will be able to do practically the same as in iOS, like answering questions or opening applications, but some things remain unclear: the first, and the one that I think is most important, is whether it will be available for all computers that are compatible with OS X 10.12. Nothing makes us think that no, but we have seen more rare movements by Tim Cook and company. The second is whether Siri for Mac will have a voice or not, and I say this because neither the watchOS version nor the Apple TV version speak, they only respond to commands.
It is expected that OS X 10.12 It will be presented on June 13, but it will not be released until September or October of this year. Will that be when we start talking out loud with our Macs?
