Apple is working on a new type of iPad case. The new Smart Covers open and close automatically and the we can see exposed in a window of an Apple store, more specifically, it is the store that is located in London's Regent Street.
Smart Covers are designed by Apple and have always been characterized by having a magnetic closure that remains fixed with the side end of the iPads. This system is also used so that the iPad comes out of sleep mode and its screen turns on when we open the cover of the Smart Cover or it turns off when we close the cover. It is not clear, nor has it yet been officially published, the method that these new covers follow to open and close automatically, but they probably also use some kind of magnetic mechanism, as usual.
In any case, it is quite a striking novelty and for sure, will serve as a claim for customers curious, who called by the novelty of a cover that opens and closes by itself, will be made with one of these new protections. In the same way, these news will also positively affect the sale of iPads. It may be the way out that Apple was looking for so that the sales of its tablets pick up sales and resume an upward line, after many months of declines.
To sell more iPads, as well as iPhones and iMac computers, Apple recently started a campaign under the slogan "Start something new”. In it, you can see a series of works of visual art, created using iOS and Mac devices. You have not noticed that it has a system underneath (on the shelf where they are) by magnets that makes it open and close. It's on the bracket. It does not open and close by itself….
But if it is very clear that it has some kind of system, magnets I suppose, to open and close under the table. Okay, I think curiosity is discussed, but not to sell it as something new in which Apple works.
