Rumors are getting louder that the iPhone 7 that we will see this year will be a small redesign of the current one instead of a complete change as Apple has accustomed us so far. According to these sources that nobody can name but are always very close to Apple, the real change will come in 2017, next year, with the iPhone 8. Yes, because if this year the iPhone 7 is not a radical design change, next year there would be no iPhone 7s, but directly Apple would launch an iPhone 8 brand new. Even John Gruber, an authority on these issues, has talked about what the future iPhone 8 could look like based on what he has heard.
The iPhone 7 will have few changes compared to the current model, at least the 4,7-inch model. Another thing will be the iPhone 7 Plus, which seems to have a dual camera, Smart Connector and 3GB of RAM. Both models will lack the headphone jack connector, and the overall design of the watch will be very similar to the current one, pending whether Apple will choose to provide them with two speakers at the bottom or keep the only current speaker.
