This is how the 3G S takes photos

Less than 24 hours after the launch of the new iPhone 3G S, if Movistar is on the job, they will appear photos taken with the 3 mpx camera and autofocus of the new model. My opinion is that the quality is quite good and improves on the previous one, but better than telling you is that you see it yourself in this gallery of Flickr.

Fedrzz esque I don't know what to think anymore .. that is .. if the telemarketer tells me that his departure will be for the first of July .. then Movistar / telefonica lied yesterday to ensure that tomorrow would go on sale? I hope that tomorrow at 10.15 in the morning in the Movistar store the iPhone that I have been waiting for year and something else and more than anything that I am without mobile (3 weeks already) and I am very urgent 🙁

If it doesn't come out ... (don't comment)

The quality is not bad, neither was the 2 megapixel one, but it is not to freak out because there are better ones right now. and without flash ... The truth is that you lose a lot ...

In any digital camera the important thing is not the number of megapixels, the important thing is the optics. I don't know which optics the iPhone 3G S uses but it seems to be of a certain quality.

It seems to me that the one that targets iPhones is the Nikon brand, I think, normal people believe that because it carries more megapixels it is already the best and the important thing is not the objective, that is, the lens.

For its part, Movistar could put information on the new iphone 3gs and say if it will come out tomorrow or we will have to wait

Why do you repeat yourself so much? Nobody has said anything more megapixel, I think nobody has said it, and that you agree with that quality of photography because we already know it, but not everyone is satisfied, I prefer to carry a decent camera on the mobile because I love the photography, that if that pa takes pictures of a reflex… .we know it too, I actually have it, but since you understand so much the flash is not only used at night, also during the day and in darker places but anyway ………

    Condor@
Have you seen many of the flash on the market for mobile phones? I would not consider it a miserable light, much less seeing what is on the street today …… ..

Elin @: Are you going to print posters or photographs?

Hey then maybe yes, in fact I have several prints of beaches where I go for example, I happened to take a camera, you know ...... for God's sake don't defend Apple for defending it, they have increased this camera just to record a decent video, then According to you, the resolution is this 2048 x 1536… .. pass me a photo with that resolution taken with the iphone. or better put it here so we can see how it looks. Man please !!! and above giving lessons on megapixels in order to defend apple ……. I repeat it again, the quality is not bad, but a flash is still blatantly lacking …….

Well, I just came back from a Movistar store to look for an iPhone that had been repaired and they confirmed that the iPhone 3Gs arrived on Friday.

PS: The iPhone that I got for repair, obviously, was a completely new phone. Great service from Apple.

I called again and they only told me the same thing: For July ... tomorrow there will be no Iphone ... my joy in a well? : Yes, whether or not this is the case, tomorrow I will be in a Movistar store or several to find out if they have news or not.

  13.   Aitor said

And by the way, the photo is incredible. And a supposed video recorded with the 3Gs also circulates on the network and what quality it is.

Some system to put factory settings and be able to put the agenda after only the backup copy. Thanks.

Is that with 3 MegaPixels you can take photos at a resolution of about ... 2048 x 1536 ... why the hell do you want more? Are you going to print posters or photographs? It is true that many people think that having more megapixels is better but the truth is that from a decent number of megapixels (3 to take OVER pictures), what matters are other things such as optics.

Not papadopoulus. I am from the Canary Islands, specifically from Lanzarote. And I was quite impressed that they confirmed it to me, because here in the Canary Islands they usually take a little longer than in the Peninsula. And even if it were, I will have to wait a few good months until my contract ends, since it is a 24-month stay.

Xes, I do not agree, (with all due respect) I have here a 5 mpx in a nokia (n95 8gb) and it is superior to the iphone but that by far …… if we go to sonny erricson …… I am sorry to tell you I do not agree either, they are amazing, nothing to do with Nokia or less the iPhone ... ... the same with sansumg and lg, about Motorola I do not speak because I do not know absolutely nothing, but these brands that I name, For me! They all surpass the iPhone and more than enough, of course if I want to take quality photos I will take the reflex that is from the drawer, but tell me which 5 megapixel camera is surpassed by the 2 megapixel camera, because I do not know of any. And beware that the iPhone is good, both as it will be this 3 but you can not say that it is better than many of 5mp, please did not even have an autozoom …… ..

Valepunto, if you have a reflex and you like photography, you should understand all these comments. To take good photographs you will NEVER take them with ANY mobile, you will use your reflex to take it. The flash of any mobile, if you take the photo of any subject in full sunlight, at sunset or at dawn, you will not get anything from it and if you do it will be to spoil the photograph. I have never been convinced by the cameras of the nokias, nor sonyericsson, nor motorolas ... I even feel sorry for all those who are showing off 5Mp and then the iPhone with 2Mp has surpassed them. I do not defend the 3Mp iPhone camera with this, but if this photo is really taken with a 3G S, it seems to me that they have hit a lot with it.

I think that those of us who like photography spend our money on cameras, lenses ... etc. And an iPhone with this final camera resolution will be used to take day-to-day photos, photos that you are going to take for fun, that you are going to take to remember moments, not to do wonders with them.

    Greetings 😉

If you really like photography, forget about the camera of any mobile that is currently on the market. What I think is that you love taking photos, which is sooo different.
No mobile flash is worth anything, well yes, to play the dummy and look like a leg in front of the rock that is watching you.
I don't think Apple will ever integrate a flash into its mobile devices for the simple reason that it does not fall within its particular minimalist aesthetic, which on the other hand is what causes more users to be interested in its products every day. Aesthetics and design that has been copied ad nauseam by all its competitors, each and every one of them falling into the most resounding of failures.
Go that the iPhone 3G S is what it is and it is easy for those who do not like it: "don't buy it."
For me it is a «MAQUINÓN».

I like the tone of discussion, so without piques and giving opinions is what is cool.
I do not know the infinite enumerations that the Nokia models have, but I say that in my family there are many to carry Nokia and the truth is that there is a new touch that surpasses the iPhone in photography and of the pull, but there are others that show off five Mp that fall short, believe me. I am not saying that the 2 Mp is the best in the mobile market because it would be self-deceiving and denying clear evidence, I am only saying that it surpasses many of higher quality and in turn, it is surpassed by many of higher quality.
We have made it clear that to take good photos, we will focus on reflex rather than xD phone cameras.

sony technician from nokia and sony erricsson, and I can assure you that the best mobile cameras right now are those from sony (right now and for a long time), but by far, anyway it seems to me that for normal use this cam 3.2 and autofocus is very very good, I like the focus by areas, it is something that helps a lot. The flash, well, it's not that bad either, whoever really wants to take pictures in low light doesn't need a mobile phone, none of them does them well, not only because of the flash but also because of the sensor sensitivity. Rather, if you want to take photos in the dark, buy a camera, even if it is the cheapest, it will surely make them better. By the way, the n95 is not a bad mobile, it does not have a bad camera, but in terms of manufacturing quality it is light years from the iPhone, I always say that one is made by an "artist" and the other by a "mechanic"

Well, I partly agree with valepunto, it is true that mobile phones are useless to do certain things, but come on, professional photography? Those are already big words.

The iPhone 3G camera shows that for 2mpx it takes very good photos, and the 3GS camera I suppose that if it has autofocus and higher resolution better than better, now, to say that mobile cameras are not worth anything, and the flash only to do the fool ... come on, the current double flash LEDs work wonderfully in many places, they have several meters of range and do not dazzle anything, I am not talking about the xenon flash of the n82 for example. Obviously it is not the same as a professional flash, but damn, it is amazing to have that on a mobile.

As for the mpx, if you are only going to see them on your mobile phone or on your pc with 3 probably there are plenty of them, if you are going to print old-fashioned photographs, it still falls a bit short.

And for the record, I have changed from the n82 to the iPhone + Ixus 100 and I am delighted 😀

What I mean is that the camera of a mobile phone can be used to take pictures of when you go out with your friends, of specific moments, funny moments ... but for a birthday, a trip, an outing ... does anyone use the mobile camera? No mobile phone can replace any camera, and doing so, in my opinion, is a bad decision. I repeat, to take photos with your friends, photos to remember a moment, SPECIAL MOMENTS, they fulfill their function perfectly.

Another is that it depends on different factors whether a camera with 3Mpx of resolution takes good printed photos or not.

I have to tell you, your comment is magnificent, read well what this user says before releasing things like all brands copy Apple… It's pure fanaticism… ..

  35.   pablusplus said

Hello ... what a mess. there are two different threads: "megapixels" and "apple vs the world". Don't be like that, they get fanatical about something and they stop reasoning ... regarding megapixels, megapixels do not matter but the quality of the sensor; and yes, from high resolutions (3 mp? for a mobile) it is better that the optics are first class ... this is more than remarkable if we are going to print the above SNAPSHOTS. What are that and nothing else, or have you seen a medium-haired photographer use a mobile phone? I am fond of photography and I have an old machine, a Leica M1 35mm: a chiche, and with one of the best optics that exist. From there up is quality. And if we are to the case, Leica entered the digital world with the 8.2MP M10, and since there were cameras with 24 megapixels at that time, it means that those 10MP in a good sensor and good optics give results even better than one. 24 megapixels still with a similar optical quality ... The mobile is the mobile and can go in your pocket. Anyone who wants to be a photographer with a mobile there, but it is only a sign of a certain lack of experience. Ah, be careful. a reflex is not the best either. Movement of the internal mirror causes jitter that produces a 'fuzzy' image if a long exposure time is used without a tripod or stand. But still, it is understandable what they were aiming at and I completely agree. And with respect to Apple, I develop a beautiful platform that stands out in terms of interface, fluidity and diversity of available software. But of course, when it comes to cell phones they are newbies and suffer from major flaws, such as the lack of multitasking, a closed development policy, and if we sharpen the pencil, we start with hundreds of things ... Nokia, LG, Sonyericsson (excellent mobile cameras! more because of Sony's experience in that sector) they have been in the market for years and they know what the user wants ...

In any case, don't be fooled: ALL of these brands, including the apple one, use a market strategy based on programmed obsolescence. None will give them the top-of-the-class mobile in each category, rather they give you here and they take you out of there, and they will never give you everything ...

Byons, when you say that you have not liked any sony like the one on the iphone, it is because you have not seen the photos that the sonys take, either that or your fanaticism affects you, but I don't understand it.
I have not yet seen anyone in this post say that someone has more megapixel or that they put more, STOP REPEATING THE SAME OVER AND AGAIN !!! Carl Zeis is the lens that mounts an N95, there are many experts who say that it is bad ajjajaja …….

Well, people have a deep fanaticism for the iPhone, it is a very good mobile and it improved a lot compared to the previous one (from 3g to 3gS). Now the people of nokia defend nokia and the people of iphone to apple, and the fans of iphone do not renew you that a good photo of nokia on the computer is really acceptable, we will see what happens with the S now .. Now they want a camera use a leika as explained by a person above, why do you buy a cell phone, if you use it as a camera it is separate, the same as all other functions .. Also today a cell phone is compared to everything, the best is for price and size since there are many things, now if they complain buy a cell phone, a pc, a camera, a gps and other things and voila ..
But enough with the fanaticism of the iPhone because it is not as much as they describe it, I particularly love it, but I have an n95 and both are good phones, but I love my Nokia more ...
