Solution to blocking your iPad with the startup logo when jailbreaking with Evasi0n 7

We are not going to discover anything if we say that the new Jailbreak launched about 24 hours ago is giving more than one headache, and not only to the hackers, the Evad3rs team, who have been involved in accusations of hacking and of benefiting financially from This, but also many of those who have tried to jailbreak without success, and the only thing they have achieved has been an iPhone or iPad with a home logo (the apple) on its screen, without being able to do anything else. According to Evad3rs, this is due to Jailbreak on devices that have updated via OTA (yes, I know that it has worked for many of you, I only say what Evad3rs says). What to do if this happens? We give you some solutions that in the network they are saying that they work.

Try again to jailbreak

One option that may work is to try jailbreaking again. But not directly, but after a "hard reset" of the device. Press the start and power button at the same time for 10 seconds, this will cause the device (iPhone or iPad) to restart, and then try to Jailbreak again. If this doesn't work, go to the next step.

Restore the device

The most aggressive option, but sometimes the only one that works. The problem is that this option does not even work for some, since iTunes gives an error when trying to restore. For it to work without errors it is necessary to put the device in DFU mode following these instructions:

• Connect your device to the computer with the original cable (the compatible ones sometimes give failures)
• Turn off your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
• Press and hold the home and power button simultaneously for 10 seconds
• Release the power button but without releasing the start button, until iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode, then the following window appears.

We then press the accept button. The iTunes window will then appear with the option to restore the device.

Click on the option "Restore iPhone", after which the process of reinstalling iOS 7.0.4 will begin. Once finished, we can restore the backup we did before starting the Jailbreak, as indicated in our guide and as the Evad3rs themselves recommend. If we later want to jailbreak, we will only have to run Evasi0n 7 again, or wait for a new, more stable version to be released.
