Solution to device detection problems in Absinthe 2.0.x

Absinthe 2.0.1 allows untethered jailbreak to iOS 5.1.1

Although Absinthe 2.0.x is a very simple tool to use, some users have reported problems that are bringing them headlong:

  • Error detecting device (lockdown error -5)
  • Could not connect to lockdown

If Absinthe 2.0.x gives you either of those two errors, pod2g has said to do the following:

Go to the Settings menu> General> Reset> Delete content and settings

A continuación debes ejecutar Absinthe 2.0.1 (mejor usar la versión más actual) y seguir el tutorial para realizar el jailbreak untethered de iOS 5.1.1.

What version of iOS 5.1.1? As you have the 9B208 try to download the 9B206 and restore manually from iTunes. If you don't have to wait for Absinthe to update again.
