Does iOS 11.0.2 fix battery problems?

Although many are the users who affirm that the battery life with iOS 11 is practically the same that they could find with iOS 10, the number of users who affirm that the eleventh version of iOS is not that optimized as far as battery consumption is concerned.

Since its launch, many users say that the battery of their devices has dropped dramatically, reaching alarming levels never seen before. Shortly after releasing iOS 11.0, Apple released the first update, iOS 11.0.1, a minor update that focused on fixing Mail issues with Outlook.

A few days ago, Apple released another small update, an update that in theory should solve the battery problems of the iPhone 6 and 7 especially, although some users say that the iPhone 8 is not very fine at all. Apple has not recognized at any time that the battery of the devices is lasting less than normal, but I could have tried to fix the problem with the release of iOS 11.0.2. covertly.

The guys from iAppleBytes, has carried out a performance test in which they have used an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and an iPhone 7, all of them charged to 100% battery and with version 11.0.1. After the test is complete, they have updated the devices to iOS 11.0.2 and have done the same test to see if the battery has improved or if, on the contrary, it is still one of the problems that are most pissing off users.

The tests have been carried out with the Geekbench application, an application that performs different processes, each one more complete than the previous one and that obviously results in the device's battery consumption. As we can see in the video, Apple has not fixed the battery problemsIn fact, it seems that on some devices the battery life is even less than with the previous version of iOS.

The problem that users are now is that a couple of days ago, Apple stopped signing iOS 10.3.3, so there is no way to go back to the latest version that Apple released of iOS and how good it was showing users. What is clear is that next year, many users will think twice when updating their devices to the new version of iOS until they check if the performance is adequate or not.

I just downgraded to version 10.3.3, so it seems that Apple is still signing that version.

    Greetings.

Apple continues to sign iOS 10.3.3. To check it, you just have to go through ipsw.me and look for the iPhone 6s to see if it continues to sign or not.

I have a 6s, I tried to downgrade to 10.3.3 and it would hang when I displayed the utilities menu. When restarting, it reloads the ios update bar and when I return to the main screen of icons, I open the utilities menu again and the same thing. I tried to install again from iTunes but then I got the unknown error 6. I had to reinstall ios 11 🙁 I honestly don't feel like going around denying between one version and another, I will wait for a new update, they will have to correct it because there are many users with this problem.

I just tried and it won't downgrade with an iPhone 6S. In the end I have to restore the 11.0.2 again.
    Very bad about the battery.

for the 6S if it is still signed, it is rare but it is like that, for the 6S Plus it is not signed, which is rare. I have the 6S Plus and it is the last time that I update like this first, go Apple, a phone from that pasture so that they can get you over the battery like that and above all they don't let you return to an operating system "operating" and not inoperative, what a disaster.
Anyway deactivating the bluetooth the battery is lengthened much more.
    What a fabric….

I don't like the last two updates, apart from the battery, the wifi is activated every so often even though I deactivate it, it no longer turns on the screen when I pick up the iphone and the apps are stopping working well, I want to open some and they close. I have to delete them and reinstall but some of them not even that I had to delete them. I have always liked Apple but I am very unhappy with the latest update. I have an iphone 7
