Each update of an operating system can cause incompatibilities with the applications. That is something that has happened with many important games from the App Store, some of them being removed from the iOS application store. One of the games that has suffered this type of incompatibility has been Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II, a title that hasn't worked on iOS 7 and iOS 8 until its latest update which has arrived on January 11th.

This type of game shows that games with 3D simulation graphics and great stories are not always necessary to be successful. The platformer games 2D still have their charm, especially for users who play classic consoles such as the Mega Drive, the Sega Master System II, the Super Nintendo or the NES more than two decades ago. In addition, there are millions of Sonic and Mario fans, so it would not be a bad idea to bring more titles in which these characters appear to our iPhone. They would be assured of success.

That they get more like this, you say? No way… a bad game that is nothing like its older MD brothers, episodic, unfinished, and with more flaws than milk? Either they make a Sonic Generations 2 or I don't go through the box. Sonic 4 has turned out to be a tremendous shit, hence they didn't even bother to end the game with a final episode.
Sonic 4 is excellent. Especially episode II in its console version. Well designed, and justified for the price. It's obviously not like the ones on megadrive because it came out 18 years later and combined traditional meganic with a modern twist. And it went well.
