Speed test iOS 9.3 Beta 2 vs iOS 9.2.1

iOS-9.2.1-vs-iOS-9.3-beta-2

Last Monday Apple launched the second beta of iOS 9.3 but until yesterday Wednesday users who are not enrolled in the developer program could not update to the second beta of iOS 9.3, whose main aesthetic novelty is found in the Control Center, with the addition of the Night Mode button and a few more options accounts within the Music application and related to Apple's streaming music service.

Since Apple released the first beta of iOS 9.3 I have been testing daily and I have to admit that works much better than other betas. It is noted that the opening of the betas to the public is accelerating the development and subsequent release of iOS updates.

Every time Apple releases a new beta or final version, the guys at iAppleBytes they show us a speed test in which the latest available beta of iOS is compared, with the last final version of iOS that Apple is signing at the moment. On this occasion, the comparison is made with iOS 9.3 beta 2 and iOS 9.2.1, the latest version officially available.

As on previous occasions, the Terminals used to make the comparison are the iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s. iOS 9.3 is still in beta, so of course it is a version that is not yet polished at all, so it is not surprising that it is a bit slower than the stable version of iOS 9.2.1. But in the next betas, before the final launch, Apple will address the aspect of speed, especially in older devices.

Today, iOS 9 is found on 76% of supported devices, an adoption similar to what we can find with iOS 8 on the same dates.

These comparisons should be made with iOS 9.0 and iOS 9.3 to see the evolution of the OS in its entirety ... From iOS 9.2.1 to 9.3 the jump in performance will not be perceptible, also iOS 9.3 incorporates new functions and until it leaves the beta will not be entirely polished and may affect overall performance. I said, I would like to see comparisons of 9.0 with 9.3 final and also in the 6S

How is it not perceptible? Take a good look at the video, you will see that there is not even an indication of lag in the new beta, or in the YouTube application, look at the jump that the video hits in rescue and how a fine transition is made with the beta, etc….
