Spider-Man ™: Total Mayhem, will you be the best superhero? Review

Spider-Man: Total Mayhem, the action-packed comic book inspired Gameloft this magnificent game, which is now available on the App store.

While Spider-Man is a typical Gameloft offering down to the weak-voiced, questionable-quality stories, it also contains the most important of all: it's a polished, console-style game that is guaranteed to be fun to play with.

When several of the best-known villains are suddenly released from prison by an explosion in the Triskelion, it's up to our neighborhood superhero to put everyone back where they belong and stop the dangerous virus already spreading through the inhabitants of the city.

Through 12 levels of play, Spider-Man snakes his way through the city, beating thugs, freeing citizens, scaling facades, sliding down ropes, collecting artwork, and sliding his way from building to building. building to correct the mistakes of society.

Each level is a unique setting, in terms of both location and height above or below street level, with great detail and extensive gameplay. Each level will cost you around 15 minutes to complete. As the game progresses, we will also find battles against final bosses: Sandman, Rhino, Electro, Venom, Doc Oc, and of course the Green Goblin.

The most important aspect of the gameplay is the combat system, because you are going to fight almost everyone you meet. You have a virtual pad for movement and three action buttons for jumping, attacking, and throwing webs. These three action buttons give you almost endless possibilities for combos that are impressive both soft and hard.

The help page explains how to perform all the various maneuvers, although the best you will learn them is the old style of try and fail, until you get what you want or even the tactic of hitting the action buttons non-stop and seeing what combo you have. stepped out.

During the fight, you will see a lightning bolt button from time to time that will allow you to use your Spider sense to slow down time and avoid an enemy attack. Annihilating enemies will often reward you with green or red orbs, which are good for health or skill point replenishment. Skill points are used to improve your skills: Strength, Defense, and Specialty.

Graphically, the highly colored environments show good depth and nice detail. Whether it's sliding from rooftop to rooftop and watching the speed of the stage, or climbing walls with flames gushing from windows, while boxes fall from the rooftop, the game remains exciting and exciting all around you.

Even the strategies needed to dispatch the final bosses vary quite a bit, so you'll have to experiment to find the right one for each one. The health bar and the combo bar are in the upper left corner, which makes it possible to see them quickly, which will allow you to hit them (when they are full) to get a brutal attack.

More data after the jump.

The enemy health bar appears in the upper right corner during a fight. The soundtrack offers a nice emotionally charged, action movie style of background music that enhances playability and provides a good alternative to relatively weak sound effects.

Hopefully some of the sound effects were better than those found in the game. The touch controls are decent, although it seems to have some lack of response from time to time in the combo bar and in the Spider sense button.

Finishing the game has its benefits, like unlocking Spider-Man's black suit, which offers a different experience of the game. Also indicate that there are 4 levels of difficulty, so playing again at a different level may offer a greater challenge. However, having fought hard against Rhino, we have no desire to try to dispatch him again. There are trophies to earn, art pieces to collect, and photos to take from boss battles.

Another point of frustration is the inability to control your point of view (which can lead to some confusion as to where to go next, although the paths of red or green orbs and little arrows will usually guide you back to the right path) and the lack of spontaneous sliding with your cobwebs all over the city. Including some kind of mini-games to satisfy the itch would have been great to see.

Game Pros:

- Detailed, expansive cityscapes.
- Three action buttons to facilitate the use of combos.
- Extensive game.
- Multiple levels of difficulty.
- Possibility of unlocking the black suit to return to play in another way.

Cons of the Game:

- Weak plot and poor quality voice.
- Cannot control the point of view of the camera.
- Occasional failure to respond to the Spider sense button.

    GAME WHERE AYA.

BUT I HAVE TAKEN 2 DAYS WITH THE FUCKING RYNHO KE I DON'T HAVE THE BALLS TO KILL HIM.

    SOME HELP???????

    THANK YOU.

HAIRS, that was the one that gave me the most work to defeat. My technique is the following: in the first scenario, use the arachnid sense a lot (I think you can use it up to three times in a row), in the first scenario when it pounces at you, it only does it once, take advantage of that moment and hit it. In the second scenario it remains the same, only in this scenario he pounces twice to gore you, and sometimes we make the mistake of going after him in the first failure of goring you. In the third scenario he tries to gore you three times in a row, there you have to run a lot, so that this collision with the walls and you take advantage and attack it, as I said before, the arachnic sense must always be used.

It is good to point out that jumping does not work with him, try never to do it, do everything from the floor ...

It is true although I use the spider sense all the time and I gave him several hits so I beat him on my first play from what I see on the blog I was lucky, my problem is now in defeating electro on difficulty 3, does anyone know how to do it?

I need to know everything about Rinho's level is impossible for me. When he launches the cars he disappears and doesn't allow me to continue for time

With Rhino it lasted about 2 days on difficulty 3. It is not impossible, but it suffers. And with electro believe me …… it is impossible = yes if someone knows say how!

Hello, I have this spiderman game and it is very good, I have already finished it several times but there is one thing that I do not know how to do ... and that is to change into the black spiderman suit. Can someone tell me how I can change the suit.
    Thank you

It's easy, what I did was this, I went to the trophies and a shirt appeared to me or touch it as they say and there the red and black suit came out, what I am seeing is that many have a problem with electro at the level 3 it was easy for me, just dodge and run and when it gets weak finish it
