We know that there are many athletes among our readers, so we present Sports Tracker, which is a sports application that merges with social networks to offer a unique service that encourages outdoor sports.

In addition to all the advantages offered by the application, Sports Tracker for the iPhone integrates with the service offered on the web www.sports-tracker.com which further enhances the experience.

Here is a list of the main features of Sports Tracker:

  • Monitor and analyze your performance and progress.
  • Store all your training data in your work journal.
  • Find out how many calories you have burned during exercise.
  • Visualize your position, time or distance traveled.
  • Share your training data and photos with other Sports Tracker users, Facebook and Twitter.
  • View the profiles of your friends and comment on their photos or workouts.
  • Explore the world to discover new routes.

Note: the continued use of GPS can considerably reduce the autonomy of the iPhone.

Does anyone know if it improves the RunKeeper app at all? From the description it seems to me more of the same. Let's see if someone who has tried both knows ... 🙂

@Marchelo, this afternoon / night I'll try it and I'll tell you tomorrow

Marchelo. It's free. You install it, you test it and if it doesn't convince you, then you delete it. All the best.

I'm not blind and I know how to read, I know I can download it and check it, but if I ask, it's about something. For example, because these days I do not have any activity planned to test it. Or simply because I do not feel like downloading programs that I suspect I will consider a duplicate. Jolines.

    Thanks, Toni 🙂

After trying it just once, I'm still sticking with the Runkeeper. He lacks the voice that is setting the times and speed, something for me fundamental since while I run it is very difficult to look at the screen. My biggest complaint about the Runkeeper is the poor accuracy of the GPS, something slightly worse in the Sport Tracker (I still don't understand why). Lots of graphs and statistics but at least they don't interest me much. What I did like and hopefully they would copy for Runkeeper, is the automatic pause of the activity when the speed drops below a limit.

Oysters, that's very good, because sometimes I forget to stop it and… well, thanks for the comment! 🙂
