Unlike streaming video services, in which each company has a series of unique catalogs and titles, in the world of streaming music services, things are more complicated, since practically all services have the same catalog, except some other temporary exclusive.
Today, Spotify is the undisputed king of this sector and to try to differentiate itself from the rest and maintain its dominant position in the market, it is working to add a new function, a function that we will allow you to enjoy the music video of the song currently playing.

According to Jane Wong, a security engineer who analyzes the code of applications available on both iOS and Android, it seems that Spotify is raising create a new tabbed interface for the "Now Playing" screen, screen that will offer different options for the song that is playing at that moment. This new screen will include the album art, a video of a few seconds that plays in a loop (Canvas) and a brand new video section.
This new section will probably allow you to enjoy your favorite videos of our songs without leaving the Spotify app. Spotify has integrated videos in the past on its platform temporarily, but today it is difficult to find this type of format if it is still available.
Spotify has responded to these leaks by stating that you are still exploring what you can offer in this section. With the title Video, the only real and attractive option is to show the full videos of the songs that are played on its platform, just as YouTube Music, Google's streaming music service, offers today.
