A few hours ago we announced that Spotify had made public the rumor that had been running around the network for a few days: its free music streaming service was no longer exclusive for the desktop version (Windows and Mac) and the applications for iOS (and Android) could also be used without having the Premium version contracted. Although the news came with a "but", and that is that the iPhone version was limited, being able to only play "randomly" the songs. The removal of the 10-hour monthly limit also accompanied this good news for music lovers. This new free mode for mobile devices is now available, and we have tested it, so we can show you how it works on the iPad and iPhone.
If you are a Spotify user on your computer, the iPad version has no surprises for you: the same features as the PC and Mac OS X version are available on Spotify for iPad. All the music library of Spotify at your fingertips, without limits. Search for an artist, an album, or a radio station and enjoy your favorite music. Of course, you can only do it by streaming, no possibility of listening to music in offline mode. For this you will still need a Premium account. Your favorite playlists and stations are also synchronized with the desktop version and other devices, so all the work you do on one device will be enjoyed on any other associated with your account.
And the version for iPhone? What about its limitations? If I did not understand that Spotify for smartphones had limitations when its CEO told us this afternoon, much less do I understand it now that I have been able to test it on my iPhone. Really the limitation with respect to the iPad or the computer is that you can not play the songs in the order you want, but randomly. But you can keep selecting the artist, the album, or your favorite playlist, and play its content, yes, randomly. You can however pass the songs without limits. In other words, Spotify for iPhone is practically identical to the other versions, but "messy." Great news for the millions of users who used Spotify in its free mode, and bad news for all other streaming music services, who see how Spotify has just left them "out of the game."
You can download the Spotify application for iPad and iPhone completely free of charge from the App Store, and enjoy this new free service for your devices right now.

I can not register someone happens to osmosis
There is a limitation to be able to play 6 songs an hour and then it suggests a song that you are forced to listen to in between.
Sure!!! I hadn't gotten until the 6 skipped songs to check it out. I had not read anything about it in the Spotify note or on its website.
Thank you!!!
So it doesn't match the desktop version, does it?
