Spotify is today, the undisputed king of the streaming music market. It is closely followed by Apple Music. So far we can count, since the rest of the companies that offer streaming music services have not officially announced the data related to their music services over the Internet.
Since it went public, Spotify has been adding new features, both for users of the free version with ads and for users who religiously pay a fee every month. The company just announced a new update designed for subscribers, improvements that we detail below.
As we can read on the Spotify blog:
Optimized navigation. We've refined the navigation to help people quickly find what they're looking for. Subscribers can get great recommendations on the home screen, discover something new with the search box, and access favorite songs, artists, playlists, and podcasts in My Library.
Custom Search: The search page has been redesigned and is where we can find artists, albums, podcasts and much more, whether the subscriber knows what they are looking for or wants to explore something new. At the top of the screen, listeners can find the most listened to genres - from indie to country to reggae - and easily discover the music that best reflects them and their mood.
Artists radio stations: If a subscriber wants a great playlist based on one of their favorite songs or musicians, they can simply search for it and start listening to one of the new playlists in the new dedicated section.
Going public and exposing your accounts publicly, is allowing Spotify to expand not only the number of subscribers and paying users, but is also allowing it to carry out a large number of proposals that for whatever reason, they had not been able or willing to carry out previously.
The truth is nothing very relevant, it does not change at all with daily use.
They could already release the app for apple watch !!!
