The post-PC era is consolidated, to a large extent, by the iPad and the great reception it has had among users. In Q4 2011, 15,4 million iPads have been sold and it is the device of choice for many users who have to perform tasks such as sending an email or surfing the Internet or even playing games.
It is incredible how a device that is barely two years old has some 200.000 applications specially designed for it and has managed that the competition, to think of having 100 quality products, has not managed to catch up with the iPad.
