Currently in Cydia we can find a large number of tweaks that allow us to customize the status bar of our iPhone. Among the most popular we find Zeppelin that allows us to change the logo of our operator, StatusHUD that shows us the volume level, Alkaline to change the drawing of the battery, PlayMe2 shows us the song and the artist in the status bar, StatusBarWeather that shows us information about the weather…. and so we could be a good time.
The status bar has long become one of the tweak developers' top priorities. Today we are going to talk about a tweak similar to StatusHUD, which shows us the volume control in the status bar, but unlike this, StatusbarVolumen allows us to modify it by sliding our finger on the screen.
Relatively recently, YouTube updated their app by modifying the way the volume control is displayed every time they changed it in their app. Instead of showing an interface that occupies a large part of the screen and does not allow us to see the video, YouTube presents us a line in the status bar that does not interfere with the display.
StatusbarVolumen shows us the same interface, at the top of the device, but also allows you to change the volume by sliding your finger on the volume controlIn this way, we only have to press once on the volume buttons so that the new interface appears and we can modify the volume to our liking.
Being a tweak that integrates into the system is available in all applications. In order for it to work properly, we must deactivate the device's volume control using the buttons intended for this, through the Sound section within Settings. StatusbarVolume is available for free on the BigBoss repo and is supported as of iOS 8.
