Valve just announced that soon iOS users (including Android users) will be able to use Steam Link from smartphones, which means that we can play Steam games on our iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. This is a device with which we can transmit and play today from our television by connecting it with the PC.
This launch will not come alone and it is that Steam Video will also be available soon, and this is an application to watch video as its name says. In this case, it goes beyond the 5Ghz Wi-Fi network, Ethernet and can be used through the 4G connection or directly without connection, so the content of the platform can be viewed anywhere.
All this will start on the 21 of this month
The release date is not entirely clear but Everything indicates that on May 21 we could download the application for our devices and those who have Steam Link will be able to start enjoying the games on Apple devices. Obviously if it is through an Apple TV it will be great, on the iPad it can also be a good gaming experience, but on the iPhone it will depend on the game since the screen is smaller and this can reduce playability in some titles.
You can play all the games in our Steam library using the 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection or via Ethernet cable, since it requires a good connection to avoid lag or similar problems. This will also add support to the Steam Controller and therefore it can be said that we can enjoy all the games that we play on our PC from the Steam platform on an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV.
