Surveys and analysts are at a fever pitch these months and in this case we want to show a survey conducted by Loop Ventures, to more than 500 people in the United States for the sole purpose of knowing if they will switch iPhones when Apple launches its new models next fall.
It is true that we are facing a small number of people who are surveyed and all of them are residents of the same country, which can lead to think that the results obtained are not really reliable and is quite the opposite. The percentages here are lower in everything and therefore although the entire market is not reflected, it can offer us really interesting data.
Clarify that the number of people who participated in this survey is 511, of which 226 currently own an iPhone and the rest do not. On the owners of an iPhone precisely falls the figure of 22% who want to change to the new model that comes out in September this year, but the model of iPhone they have now is not specified. 23% of those surveyed during the same period last year wanted to switch to the new model.
In general, almost half of the people who were asked the question about the intention to update their iPhone this year (42% in total) say they want to update their model in 2018, of these 28% will buy the iPhone X and 51% the new model launched by Apple.
