Its creator, Dong Nguyen, ended up eliminating the game, he said, because he couldn't stand the success his clumsy little bird had brought him. Shortly after, Swing Copters came up, an also exasperating game that this week will have a new version on the App Store, Swing Copters 2.
Swing Copters 2, like the first version, will be a game free with advertising. This means that every time we die, we will see an advertising banner at the top, as you can see in the third screenshot above these lines. From time to time, we will likely see a full-screen advertisement after crashing our helicopter. In any case, there will be the possibility of eliminating this advertising with an integrated purchase of € 0.99.
What will differentiate Swing Copters 2 from the first version? Basically the characters. As we move forward we will go unlocking new characters. Each one will have different skills, something that you will understand better if you play car games, motorcycles or other types of races where each vehicle has a control, an acceleration, a speed, etc. In these cases, it is best to choose the character that best suits our abilities, although logically it will be easier to play with the most difficult characters to get.
Without a doubt, this update will be welcome for Swing Copters fans (if it has them…), but I still think that Dong Nguyen should upload his Flappy Bird back to the App Store, the game that started it all and that many we would like to have our iPhone without jailbreak.
