Swipey, access applications from the lock screen (Cydia)

A new application has already arrived at Cydia, and in this case it is not about anything that modifies the Control Center, but about something completely new. Swipey allows you to directly access certain applications from the lock screen, no need to unlock your device and then click on the application icon. With a simple gesture you will reach the application you want quickly. We give you more details below.

The operation of Swipey is very simple: if to unlock the device you have to swipe from left to right from the lock screen, to access the applications you just have to do the opposite gesture, from right to left. If we repeat the gesture, we will move through the different applications, up to a total of six, which we can configure from the iOS Settings menu itself. From it, within the specific section of Swipey, we can choose each application one by one, including those with iOS pre-installed, applications from the App Store and other Cydia applications. One detail to keep in mind is that if we have password protection on the lock screen, we will have to enter it to be able to use the application we want to access, something logical for security reasons, but which is quite uncomfortable as it is implemented , and that Swipey should improve in future updates, at least from my point of view.

Swipey is now available in the BigBoss repo for $1,99, and it is a different way to have shortcuts to applications from the Lockscreen. There are other alternatives, such as FlipLaunch, which allows you to add access to applications along with the Bluetooth and WiFi toggles, and there are still others to come, such as the one the creators of Auxo are already working on, and which we already told you about. we have spoken in Actualidad iPhone.

I bought it but it is not going very well. It has already been several reboots after its installation.

It has been updated to 1.0.3 and continues to crash and reboot.

Its creator does not respond to five messages that I have sent him on Twitter (the only form of contact that appears for him in Cydia).

Nothing recommended. Appalling. Above is payment.
