T-Pain shows us the news of GarageBand for iOS in video

Yesterday was a musically special day regarding Apple applications. Along with a new idea saving app for musicians called Musical Pad, GarageBand was updating to version 2.1 with a good handful of important new features. Many of these novelties were already present in the OS X version, but now Drumers or Live Loops have also reached our mobile devices, allowing us to create music more easily. Shortly after its launch, T-Pain appeared in a video in which he shows us some of these developments.

The first thing T-Pain shows us is what we find in GarageBand as Beat Masher. We could say that this mode is like a drum machine. As you can see in the video, there are samples of different instruments spread across the entire screen. Each one of these samples it has something different engraved, being the same instrument those that are in the same row (horizontal). If we wish, we can put several of these samples on the track, we give it to play and the music would sound without us having to do anything else, but it is more difficult than it seems, at least to make it sound good.

At the end of the video we can also see what I like the most: the drummers. As you can see, by sliding your finger across the action box, the drummer will play louder / softer or more complicated / simple. And the best of all is that the drummer nails it, trust me that I have been testing it since they arrived at the Logic Pro in 2013.

I think it is important to warn you that what you are going to see in the following video is something that an expert in the field had previously prepared. Although when we get down to it it is not extremely difficult, it is also true that you have to stop for a moment so that each measure looks good in the final result. I leave you with T-Pain and his GarageBand 2.1 demo.
