Tage, the perfect Zephyr replacement for iOS 8 multitasking (Cydia)

Days

Despite the changes that Apple has been applying to iOS multitasking, it is still one of the aspects of the mobile operating system that generates the most tweaks in Cydia, since many users still miss some functions that Apple inexplicably does not decide to implement. After being "orphaned" by the non-update of Zephyr, one of the most successful tweaks in Cydia and that precisely allowed us to use multitasking through gestures, now it appears Tage, a tweak that takes over from Zephyr and goes much further, with features that make it even better. We show you in video how this tweak works.

With Tage you can access multitasking by means of a gesture, close applications easily one by one or all simultaneously, quickly switch from one application to another, leave an application in the background or directly close it so that it is not multitasked, and access all open applications quickly, and all this through gestures, without using your home button.

Tage-Settings

The Tage configuration is done in the System Settings, and we can divide it into three parts:

  • Close applications and multitask: configure the gestures to close an application and to access the multitasking bar. You can configure the active area of the screen for this gesture and also configure that when you prolong the gesture the application closes completely, without appearing in multitasking.
  • Change application: by means of gestures on the side edges of the screen we can go to the application immediately before or after. You can configure the action areas, the fingers and even deactivate it when the keyboard is unfolded.
  • Quick switcher: a gesture to quickly go through all the applications in multitasking and be able to choose one to open it.

Tage is available on Cydia, on the BigBoss repo, and is priced at $ 1,99, though you can try it completely free for three days and if it convinces you, buy it.
