Tagloo, the easiest way to tag, share and search for photos

tagloo

Wish there was a simpler way to store, share and organize your photos? What if they could also be stored in the cloud? Well this is possible thanks to tagloo, an application for iPhone (soon also for Android) with which we will have a smart reel in the cloud that will allow us tag, share and search for photos in a fast, easy, comfortable way and, unlike other services, totally private.

In his endeavor to make sharing images more convenient for us, Tagloo has had to be imaginative. We will manage our own reel and if we want send a photo to a contact, we just have to tag the image with your name. Our contact will receive the photo and will always have it accessible and tagged to be able to search for it in the future. What comes to our contact at first is an image of little weight, but you can download the original image whenever you want.

Tagloo uses a system of automatic labeling, all designed to make things comfortable and easy. The application will use some metadata of the image to add date and location, to which a default group can be added. Thanks to these tags we can quickly find staff or groups (which we can also refer to as albums). Siri allows us to find photos by searching with our voice, but our virtual assistant cannot find us photos in which we and another friend appear. Tagloo allows us to search and find, for example, «photos where Raúl and I go out at his house in 2013 and 2014 ″. That's cool, right?

As in any messaging application, such as Telegram or Whatsapp, we can create groups and add in it to the contacts that we want to send them the photos that we want. If we decide to update the tags of the photos of that group, the changes will be visible to the rest of the members of the group. If a user tags a photo with the word "I", the rest of the group members will see that our contact appears in that photo, but we will see their name.

As an application that saves files in the cloud, we will have a space limit. The limit is 3GB per user, but the good thing is that only the photos that we upload will take away space. If 5 contacts share our photos on Tagloo, we could say that each one has a 15GB reel. Logically, the more we share our photos, the greater the space on our shared reel.

Users who are not registered will have their own account when we tag them in a photo. It is not exactly like that, but it is a way of saying that, when our contact registers, the photos in which it was tagged will automatically be waiting for them. But best of all is its price, since Tagloo is a free application, so you have no excuse to try it. At the moment it is only available for iPhone (iOS 8 or later) but will soon be also for Android and in a web version.
