Telegram has always been characterized as one of the messaging applications that are regularly updated, adding, in most cases, new functions taking advantage of the news that Apple is introducing within each new version of iOS.
When two months have passed since the launch of the iPhone X, with its OLED screen, finally the guys from Pavel Durov have just launched a new update whose main novelty is found in night mode to take advantage of the benefits of the OLED screen of the iPhone X.
So far, the only customization options that Telegram offered us were related to the possibility of use different backgrounds for the chat, but seeing the delay in updating the official application, some users chose to make use of Telegram X, an application that allows us to make use of the instant messaging service with a night mode, ideal for the iPhone X and that is also fully programmed in Swift, so the operation of the application is faster than the official one.
With this update, the official Telegram application, add the same themes that were already available in Telegram X and which are called:
- Classic. There is little to say about this topic, since it is the only one that has been available since the application was launched.
- Day. The day mode offers us an interface similar to the Messages application, showing the messages sent in a blue speech bubble.
- Blue Night. This mode uses the night blue color in different shades to display the messages.
- Evening. This is the ideal way to take advantage of the benefits of the iPhone X, showing us a black background, with the letters in white.
To access the new themes, we just have to click on the gear wheel located at the bottom right of the screen and select Appearance. Within this section, we will also be able to modify the font size of the chats, ideal to take advantage of the size of large screens where much more information can be displayed.
