The 7th generation iPod could hit the market this year

The iPod touch is the great forgotten by Apple, a device that we can still find for sale in the Apple Store online as well as in physical stores. This device last renewed in July 2015 without any kind of announcement from the company.

We are currently in the sixth generation of the iPod touch, an iPod touch managed by the A8 processor, M8 coprocessor with 1GB of RAM and two storage capacities. According to the Macotakara website, Apple could be working to launch the seventh generation iPod touch, a device that seems to resist dying.

According to the website, during the CES 2019 celebration in Las Vegas, some of the component suppliers that had a presence at this event, stated that Apple could be working on the seventh generation of the iPod touch, a device that today is available for 232 euros for the 32 GB model and 342 euros for the 128 GB model.

This same website also states that Apple is working on an iPhone with a USB-C connectionHowever, other sources state that Apple is not yet ready to take that step, but in part it would be logical if we take into account that the iPad Pro of 2018 has adopted this new connection.

The reason for adopting this connection on the iPad Pro is none other than expand the number of accessories that can be connected to it in order to try to sell it as if it were the ideal replacement for the laptop / computer. I sincerely believe it is unlikely that Apple wants to continue developing the iPod touch, since thanks to the Apple Watch, all those who want to carry their music with them for exercise can do so in a very simple way.

In addition, the minimum storage space of the iPhone is 32 GB, more than enough space so that users who use this device to watch downloaded videos, can do so without having to invest in a device that had its moment on the market years ago, but is now practically doomed to disappear.

Well, taking into account that an iPhone is very expensive and not everyone can afford it and if one wants the apple watch to arrive at the end of the day, the ideal would be to have an iPod for music only or that is what I think. I used mine for music and games, although it is currently damaged, also as a gift for the little ones it comes in handy

I agree with hebichii, the iPhone is expensive and uses the battery faster than my 5th generation iPod, and not because one is better than the other, simply because the phone is used for a thousand things.
In my case, I prefer to have the music apart and it lasts for almost 12 hours of use, good for long hours at the office.
