Apple launched the application in 2016 Musical Pad (Music Memos in English) an application so that musicians could record your compositions quickly and comfortably from your own iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. However, this application has its days numbered, as reported by the company itself.
The Music Memos app will no longer be available in the App Store as of March 1, 2021However, it will continue to work without any problem. If you've downloaded the app in the past, you can continue to download it from your purchase history.
The reason? According to Apple, this application no longer makes any sense with the Voice Notes application available natively on iOS. This announcement is made just when Apple has updated the application by adding the option to export recordings made through this application directly to the Voice Notes application.
At Lóleo Eventos, support page in which Apple has made this announcement, we can read:
The Music Memos app will not be updated after Music Memos version 1.0.7, and you will not be able to download it after March 1, 2021. If you have an iPhone with iOS 14 or an iPad with iPadOS 14, you can continue to use Music Memos. And if you have already downloaded the application, you can continue accessing it from the purchase history of your App Store. But you should export your Music Notes recordings to your Voice Notes library to make sure you keep all your recordings.
Once all the recordings available through the Musical Pad application have been exported, These will appear inside the Musical Notepad folder in the Voice Notes application.
Unless you don't use the extra functions for musicians offered by the Musical Bloc application this change will not be a problem. But, if not, you can alternatives in the App Store.
