It seems that the applications that Apple develops for its iOS mobile ecosystem are always the last applications to be updated to add the new functions that those from Cupertino are adding in each new version of their operating system. The change from iOS 6 to iOS 7 was a radical change in the design of the operating system, leaving skeumorphism aside for a flat design, a change that many people did not like but that over time they have adapted and surely they would not like to return. After that change, the iBooks application continued to offer the old design for many months, which attracted a lot of attention due to the contrast between the operating system and the application to read books.

The Apple Store application is another of the applications that Apple has put aside in recent months. 3D touch technology hit the market after the launch of the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus models in September last year, although it took some countries a bit longer. Since then, Apple has been updating its applications individually at a too slow pace and as proof of this is the Apple Store application that added only part of the possibilities offered by this technology.

Yesterday at the last minute, the application that allows us to contact Apple, in addition to buying any device from the company or making an appointment with the Genius Bar, was updated adding new support for 3D Touch technology with more features as well as adding support for Peek & Pop from within the application. From this moment, every time we click on a link and keep the finger pressed we can see a preview of the content. Of course, this new update with support for 3D Touch technology is only available on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus devices, in addition to those devices that use one of the tweaks that allow us to simulate the operation of this technology.
