In my previous article, I have commented on Facebook's interest in creating artificial intelligence that will allow the platform to recognize the faces of people that appear in a video so that it can automatically are tagged without us having to add your name in their description. It has also launched a new live broadcast system, very similar to Periscope, with which we can broadcast what surrounds us from our iPhone. It is clear that interest in videos is on the rise and as proof of this, we also have the Vine movement, the short video platform that is slowly gaining a gap among users.
Vine's popular short video sharing service just updated its app by adding a new feature that allows users to quickly enjoy all user content without having to manually advance or select the videos one by one. This new feature is very similar to the one we can currently enjoy on Facebook when we pass over a user's video.
With this new feature called Watch, users can select the order in which we want the users' videos to be played, from the oldest to the newest or vice versa, the most popular videos or those that have barely had visits ...
It seems that Twitter has wanted respond quickly to the copy of Periscope released by Facebook a few days ago around the world, since at first it was only available in the United States. But we could also consider it a response to the new service that Snapchat has remodeled in recent weeks. As I mentioned above, video is the new trend on all platforms and it is the goal that technology companies are focusing on.
Do you at least know what 'viewing' means?
The application in Spanish has not introduced this new function, hence it has not translated the name of this new function.
