The application to enjoy Stadia on the iPhone and iPad is back

Google Stadia

At the end of September, an interesting application arrived on the App Store that allowed, finally, Google Stadia users, enjoy all the titles available on the platform Stream Google video games with any controller, whether it be the PS4 or the Xbox One.

As expected, Apple quickly removed the app from the App Storeas it violated the App Store guidelines. Stadium, as this application is called, was nothing more than a browser that allowed you to enjoy Stadia in full screen with any bluetooth controller.

For a few hours, according to the boys of 9to5Google, the application is back on the App Store. This new version is still compatible with Xbox and PlayStation controllers although it isu performance is quite erratic, as the developer assures, so the only way to be able to enjoy Stadia as before is by using the previous version or by using the official Stadia controller, since it connects directly to Google's servers, not to the device itself.

If you had the opportunity to download the first version of Stadium and are still enjoying Stadia with one hand from the Xbox or PlayStation, you should disable automatic updates if you don't want the app to stop working as well as it did at the beginning. The only drawback of deactivating automatic updates is that you will have to regularly visit the App Store and click on each of the applications you want to download.

A temporary solution until Google Officially Launch Stadia Support Through Safari, a support that should not be long in coming since Luna, Amazon's video game service, will offer it as it is launched on the market, a support that Microsoft will probably also take advantage of with xCloud. What I do not understand is if the Safari support for controllers is already available, because it takes so long for Microsoft and Google to launch their services on iOS.
