Cartoon Network has published a new game on the App Store, its name is The great war of jokess and belongs to the genre of games to defend. In this type of game we will have to protect our base from enemy waves, using defensive towers that will allow us to fight against adversaries who try to reach our main facilities.
In The Great War of Jokes we wanted to take a little twist in the approach with regard to the tower defense game traditional. For example, in this game we cannot place the towers where we please, but instead, we have to use our characters to defeat the enemy towers and once achieved, we can use their location to build our tower.
During the journey to the enemy base we will meet enemies and the towers that will have to be destroyed. This will cause us to receive damage from multiple parties but luckily, The Great War of Pranks offers us the opportunity to keep improving our characters or alternate between several in the same game. By this he means that if a character is about to die, we can bring out the second one that will give us that extra time we need to finish off the opposite.
In total there are four different characters and each one of them stands out for its specific powers and abilities, in addition, as we use it on each screen, its level increases to become stronger. Due to this, it is convenient to try to alternate the characters and not use only one on each screen, so we will be able to improve both equally but inevitably, we will always have a preference for one of them.
If our approach during the level has been correct, in a matter of minutes a message will appear saying that the enemy wall is vulnerable and we can go directly to that point. Once the opposing fortress has been demolished, the screen will be over and the game will assess our performance to see the positive and negative of the game, so we can try again and improve those weaknesses to get the highest possible score.
The great war of pranks is a universal game that costs 2,69 euros And if you love tower defense games, then I have no doubt that you will like it, that is, it is not the best I have tried in this genre but it does the job.
