The HomePod already recognizes your voice in Spain

With the latest betas of iOS 15.2 for iPhone and HomePod voice recognition finally arrives in Spain, so that the Apple speaker already knows who it is talking to and responds depending on who makes the request.

Apple promised that voice recognition would reach the HomePod before the end of the year for all countries in which its smart speaker is marketed. It has been more than a year since it arrived in the United States and other English-speaking countries, and it was about time we were able to use it in other countries as well. Well, the wait is about to end because as you can see in the screenshots that I have posted in the header of the article, it can now be activated, at least in Spain. Of course, you must have iOS 15.2 and the HomePods also updated to version 15.2, which are currently in Beta.

With voice recognition the HomePod can recognize you and tell you your calendar appointments, or recommend music based on your tastes, because it will already differentiate according to who is speaking to you, as long as the account is added in the Home application. This way, the Trap and Reggaetón of your children will not be mixed with your list of favorites, a delight for our ears. To activate voice recognition on HomePod you must access your Home Settings and activate voice recognition. With this, you can also activate personal requests and updating your music library.

At the moment we do not know the date on which iOS 15.2 will be released for iPhone, iPad and HomePod. The third Beta was released just a few days ago, and a minor update to iOS 15.1.1 was released today to solve some problems with calls on the iPhone 12 and 13. Probably at the beginning of December the final version will be ready and can be installed on all devices.
