Days before the keynote on October 16, we commented on a report published by an analyst at KGI Securities in which he stated that the iPad Air 2 would have production problems due to the anti-reflective screen that it carries. It seems that this report is true because not only this analyst clings to this idea but other media and new analysts are betting on the production problems of the iPad Air 2. After the jump we analyze the situation: it seems that the production of the anti-reflective screen appears to be very complex, and that would cause shipments to be delayed due to limited units.
Apparently, the production of the screen of the iPad Air 2 is complex, where have you been Apple?
In the keynote, Phill Schiller talked about the screen that the iPad Air 2 carried:
A tablet like this has never been made before
The screen of the iPad Air 2 is anti-reflective, that is, it reduces reflections up to 56%, therefore we can be in the sun and continue to see the screen without having to raise the brightness too much, although that would have to be seen. The only problem is the production of these panels, which are apparently quite complex to assemble. According to the leaks, TPK could be handling half of the panels while the other half of the panels would be being created by Foxconn.
At the moment we only know the problems of the production of the screens in TPK, while from Foxconn we have not received any news yet. Are they also having problems when assembling the anti-reflective screens that the iPads Air 2 will carry? Will these slight problems cause the market date to be delayed or not enough devices by the end of the year? If so, Apple should have a plan B, don't you think?
At the moment there are no reservation problems as there were in the iPhone 6 so at the moment they have devices available. When they are missing as happened in their day with the Mac Pro, talk about it. How do you like to fill in the post ...
Sorry, but in the post I refer to different reports that renowned analysts have written about the anti-reflective panels of the iPad Air 2.
