The jailbreak for iOS 9.1 from the browser that you will never see

zerodium jailbreak

Zerodium is a computer security company that offered a monetary reward for those who managed to create a somewhat peculiar Jailbreak that we had not seen for a long time, it is a Jailbreak that is carried out through a web browser, without any type of tool and that managed to release the latest stable version of the iOS firmware. Well, today through their Twitter they have decided to announce that they already have a winner for that prize of no less than a million dollars, therefore, a team of hackers has managed to develop a Jailbreak through the web browser for iOS 9.1 and 9.2b, however this has a negative point, it will never see the light.

As we have already said, Zerodium is a company that acquires computer security exploits in order to sell it to the clients who pay them, it is a mere intermediary really, but it is a way of keeping hackers under control and rewarding those who they discover certain security leaks with the intention of always improving in that section. This exploit at least will never see the light, I understand that with the title many readers had made their mouths water with a Jailbreak through the web browser as before, but that will never happen.

It seems that not everything is still dominated by Pangu and company, that is, there are good hackers at the height of the Jailbreak but that nevertheless they have lost all motivation to work on it, I suppose because they lack the corporate means of which these Chinese actors if they have. In short, this Jailbreak already has an owner, it is Zerodium, and it will not take long to sell it to Apple to continue working in favor of the user's safety and against the Jailbreak. Perhaps the middle ground between all this would be ideal for the user, but sometimes we are not the most important thing, it seems.

Hahahaha, that's called wanting to give away money!

Give away money? What they have paid to the creators of the exploit is small change compared to what Apple can pay them if they provide them with the exploit to be able to close it.

Apple does not have to pay. It is enough for them to wait for it to be published and release a minor update only to close it ten days later. I still do not understand that Apple mania of closing the terminal in that way and only allowing you to do what they consider convenient. It's my iPhone and I do whatever I want with it. And I have never had security problems on my terminal (I have jailbroken from iOS 3.1). So hope that others will come.

Well, IOS still has a long way to go to achieve everything that Cydia Tweaks achieve, for me it is essential, an iPhone without Cydia is just an iPhone. No intention of offending anyone.

It seems that many have no idea but the aforementioned 1,000,000 jailbreak is not to install customizations on the phone, this is sold to governments and organizations to spy on someone else without their realizing it, hopefully they understand this point.

I'm with you Luis. Neither Apple nor anyone else pays 1.000.000 for a browser exploit ...

Surely it is to sell it to some spy company ...
