Kindle app for iOS adds Send to Kindle from Safari

Amazon

For some time now, it seems that the main software developers are focusing their efforts on allowing users to save articles so they can read them when they have time and without the need for an internet connection. Some days ago Chrome added a new feature that allows you to save articles for later reference, just like we can do with applications like Pocket or Instapaper. The last great one who has wanted to put his head in this the world of read-it-later services has been Amazon, through its application for iOS, which has received an update that integrates an extension that allows us to save articles from Safari .

To be able to share articles from Safari, we just have to click on the share button and click on the Send to Kindle extension. Information about the title of the web that we are going to store, the author and the submit button will automatically be displayed. A message will automatically be displayed stating notifies us that the document has been uploaded successfully and will shortly be available on our Kindle. To be able to use this function, we must first download the application and run it to add the data of our Amazon account.

This new update, with which the application reaches version 5.9, also offers us the possibility of experience comics in a whole new way with immersive and cinematic reading mode ComiXology. Thanks to the Kindle application for iOS, the Amazon library gives us access to more than 3.000.000 million books and audiobooks, including 715.000 exclusive titles that are only available for the Kindle.
