The latest update to Google Photos makes it compatible with FotoScan

Again we talk about a new update to the Google Photos application, one of the most used by many users who do not want or do not like Apple's iCloud service. Google Photos allows us to store all the photographs we take with our iPhone and all the videos as long as they do not exceed 4k resolution, completely free of charge. But it also offers us a large number of options to search for any of the photos that we have stored, either through location, through object recognition, face recognition ... but also after this latest update It is able to identify all the photos that we have scanned with the PhotoScan application, only available for the iPhone.

The PhotoScan application, which has been available in the App Store for a few months, allows us to scan without reflections the photos we have around our house. It also automatically crops the photos eliminating the edges, allows us to make straight and rectangular scans with perspective correction and intelligent rotation to keep the photos straight no matter how we have scanned them.

But it is not the only novelty that this update number 2.7.0 of Google Photos brings us, since in addition a new improved grid view has also been added to highlight our improved photos, a new updated date sliding control so that it is not easier move from one year to another. Performance, one of the problems that the application has always had, it has also been improved. Both Google Photos and PhotoScan are available for free for download and use through the links at the end of this article.
