The new beta of iPadOS 15 integrates the same design of Safari of macOS Monterey

Safari on iPadOS 15

Since the launch of the first beta of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, there have been many users who they have expressed their discomfort due to the new design, which has forced the company to reconsider its initial approach and make design changes in the different betas that it has released so far for iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.

The new compact and unified design of iOS and iPadOS 15 dispensed with the interface dedicated to web addresses and to the search, showing instead an individual tab that was in charge of doing all the functions. Also, in the iOS version, the address bar is now displayed at the bottom of the screen.

iPadOS 15

With the release of the fourth beta of iPadOS 15, Apple has introduced a new design in Safari, a very similar design (not to say the same) that we can find in the Apple browser for macOS Monterey.

Until the third beta of iPadOS 15, the design of Safari on the iPad was very similar to that of Safari for iOS 15 but with the address bar at the top. With this new version, Apple has introduced a Dedicated tab bar that is activated by default.

The tab bar is shown automatically when updating to the new beta version of iPadOS 15. However, through the Settings section of Safari, we find an option that allows us to return to the initial design. If you have gotten used to this new design and do not want to use the received redesign, you can show again the compact design of the first versions.

If you want to know what all the news that have come from the hand of the fourth beta of iPadOS 15 and iOS 15, you can stop by this article where my partner Ángel has summarized them.
