AirTags pairing animation leaks confirming their design

The Apple AirTags pairing animation

2020 has been a great year in which we have been able to see a large number of new devices. However, all the leaks pointed to the launch of the AirTags Apple but we have not finally seen. This new accessory would carry the U1 chip inside and allow it to be attached to any place in order to always remain located on our iPhone. A few minutes ago, the well-known news leaker Jon Prosser published the animation that the AirTags would perform at the time of pairing on iOS and iPadOS.

AirTags Pairing Animation Reveals Final Design

Jon Prosser already published a few months ago renderings on the design of the AirTags. This device can be a location beacon for whatever we want: keys, computer, bicycle, etc. Thanks to its U1 chip, its location will appear in the 'Search' app. This device has been accompanying us throughout the year with designs hidden in iOS betas, renders and launch leaks. But it seems 2021 is going to be the launch year for this new product.

A few hours ago Prosser published a new video on his YouTube channel in which he assured that he had First-hand information from a Big Apple software engineer. Throughout the video we can see the 3d animation that appears when AirTags are paired with an Apple device. This animation appears to configure the device as it appears when we are going to pair AirPods or a HomePod for the first time.

The animation shows a device that we had already seen in the renders at the end of the year. It is a neat design in white on the top and silver on the bottom. In this last part the Apple logo appears along with the insignia of the Big Apple and the 'Ultra Wide Band' signal, the technology that uses the U1 chip.
