After posting some jailbreak related tweets for the latest version of iOS 8, an Italian student named Luca Todesco has published the source code which provides a solution to do the jailbreak to iOS 8.4.1. This jailbreak solution is called Yalu and is going to be available for some time before a full jailbreak tool is released.
Yalu source code is available from GitHub and, as you can see if you access the link, the text «jailbreak for iOS 8.4.1 incomplete, by Kim Jong Cracks«, Which makes the state of the tool very clear and kills the hopes of some users who were forced to update to iOS 8.4.1 and expect a jailbreak right now for their iPhone, iPod or iPad, but do not despair.
The "incomplete" tag exists because the source code for this jailbreak is currently for a tethered tool, which means that if we turn off the device, we will need a computer to turn it on again. To make it untethered you need the help of another developer (who has it prepared) and that is the reason why Todesco has not published it yet.
The Italian developer will launch a easy to use tool for the public, something that he has not said clearly but he has made it understood. Todesco posted a tweet that said “Technically speaking, my iPhone 6 is jailbroken to iOS 8.4.1 now. Yulu for i6 will be out very pronto ».
iOS 9 is giving many users some problems. 23kie, I had always thought that it would force the version to go up, but about 2 months ago I did it from an iPhone 4S with 7.1.2 and I was able to keep it !! That means that it keeps the firmware in memory to be able to restore without iTunes!
